Inside, you’ll find exposed beams, an original 19th-century stone wall and a beautiful wood-burning stove, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere – the perfect place to relax after a day at the Ryder Cup. The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests across 3 bedrooms and includes 2 bathrooms and 1 shower, making it ideal for a group of friends, a family or a small group of golf enthusiasts travelling together. One of the cottage’s biggest advantages is its location. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Kerry countryside while being only 2.5 miles from vibrant Killarney town, with its famous pubs, restaurants, shops and lively atmosphere. Killarney also provides an excellent base for exploring some of Ireland’s most spectacular scenery, including Killarney National Park, the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula and the Beara Peninsula. Make your Ryder Cup trip an Irish experience Don’t just come to Ireland for the golf – While the house is located in a quiet, peaceful location, Killarney town is a short 5 minute drive from the house with grocery store and fast food restaurant even closer. Important things to note: Cork Airport; 1 hour and 10 mins (89km) Kerry Airport; 15 minutes (19km) Shannon Airport; 2 hours (110km). Transportation will be provided if needed. Killarney has a lot to offer for Golf lovers with Killarney Golf and Fishing Club on our doorstep and with renowned golf courses like Dooks Golf Club, Waterville Golf Links and Ring Of Kerry Golf Club very close so Golf fans will be spoiled for choice. This Accommodation is available for the week before and the week of the Ryder Cup and can be extended if clients want.
