Nestled at the foot of the Devil’s Bit Mountain, our charming 5-bedroom Farmhouse is ideally suited for your trip to the Ryder Cup. Our home with a mature garden is located 5km from Templemore and a 80 minute drive to Adare Manor, site of the 2027 Ryder Cup. There is also plenty of space to land a helicopter allowing you to reach Adare Manor in 15 to 20 minutes. Our rural retreat comfortably sleeps 9 guests in 4 double beds and 1 single bed, with 2 of the double rooms en-suite. There is also a full bathroom upstairs with a shower and bath and a WC downstairs. A fully equipped kitchen sits at the heart of the house, with a large kitchen table for entertaining, along with an island and wood pellet stove. There are two reception rooms – a traditional style parlour with a stove and a sunroom with a wood pellet stove and French doors leading onto a patio with seating and stunning views of the Devil’s Bit mountain. The views from the front of the house are equally spectacular as can be seen from the photos. The house boasts 3 Smart TVs and fibre wifi throughout. This is truly a get away from it all location, with 1.5 acres of mature gardens to be enjoyed. Located near the quiet village of Killea, with Templemore 5 km away, the town boasts a beautiful park used daily by locals to walk and run, along with award winning coffee shops, local Hotel, local pubs (many playing music at night), clothes shops, pharmacies and other retail outlets. Templemore’s 9 hole golf course is easily accessible 10 minutes from the house. Other golf courses located nearby include Roscrea Golf Club (18km), Thurles Golf Club (22km), Rathdowney Golf Club (21km) and Nenagh Golf Club (30km).
