Access/Outside Space The property has just one entrance/exit area off the Slea Head Drive road with an open style hedge lined small parking area. An outdoor gas Weber barbeque is available for guest use in the accessible store together with reclining outdoor chairs. The store also contains a second fridge and small freezer. Through the porch the living area is very well appointed, and the comfortable sofas are cosily positioned surrounding the functioning multi fuel burning stove. From this seating area one can still enjoy the breath-taking views in all directions! It is an ideal place to curl up and read that book you have saved for the holidays or enjoy a challenging card game. Asides from the warm stove there is also underfloor and convector heating throughout this home, so the overall feeling is very snug indeed! There is a smart TV/Sky freeview TV channels and USB Type C-HDMI connector for the guest’s own laptop in the living area and good internet connection throughout the house. Located just off the living room there is a storage area where one will find a very smart utility space for all of your needs/sports gear. Kitchen and dining area This modern cottage has a very open plan chic modern rustic styled kitchen with a deep Belfast sink, all modern appliances, a gas hob and electric fan oven. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, very sufficient cooking equipment and lovely feature local pottery for everyday use. The kitchen leads out to an ample porch and a rear small rustic styled south facing garden. Ballybunion has a lot to offer in terms of pubs and restaurants and is always a lively spot to go. The beach is picturesque and has some wonderful walks (Cliff walks etc) We are also located within 10minutes of Listowel heritage town where the famous writer John B. It is a twin town with Killaloe, Co Clare which means both villages are merely metres apart, but are linked by a thirteen arch bridge. They are two of them most picturesque villages that span the River Shannon. We have a vast array of activities on land and water including kayaking, hill walking, an outdoor swimmimg pool and tennis courts. Visit historic sites, great bars and even better restaurants. Expect to hear Irish music in the summer months. Killaloe, on the Clare side of the river, which our home overlooks, is made up of charming narrow streets, flanked by old shops along the steep hill looking down over the 13th century cathedral. The town was home to Brian Boru so this picture perfect town boasts Victorian streets and old canal banks. Ballina on the Tipperary side, our side, has plenty of moorings for cruisers to stop off and the jetty offers a platform to fish from next to the River Shannon. Living here means we are only, by car, one hour from Galway, one and a half hours to Connemara, The Cliffs of Moher, Cork and Kerry. If you wish to travel in the other direction, we are two hours from the capital, Dublin. It's a three hour drive to Belfast, the capital city of Northern Ireland. But we recommend that if you stay here travel less than an hour by car, out to the wilds of Co Clare and enjoy the famous Wild Atlantic Way.
